Gabi, lonely and single, has been warned to stay away from Hezi, the married womanizer who works in her office. Aviram is a frustrated, middle-aged bachelor who lives with his dog. All these characters have in common seems to be the nondescript Tel Aviv apartment complex around which their lives revolve. But in truth their fates are entangled in ways even they cannot imagine. Kenaz takes the reader on a tour of life in Israel today, bringing his own brand of distilled reality, not to mention his ever-present black humor, to scenes that culminate in murder and revelation.
